    Shopping list for Chicken, Shrimp and Vegetable Soup

    For 4 servings you will need:

    4 ounces chicken breast without skin
    2 ounces shrimp, peeled
    1 tablespoon soy sauce
    1 teaspoon vegetable oil/oil spray
    2 teaspoons minced garlic
    1 teaspoon minced ginger
    2 cups cabbage, cut into bite-sized pieces
    1 carrot
    2 cups cauliflower
    1 cup of celery
    1 cup mushroom
    4 cups of chicken broth.
    1 T. cornstarch
    salt and pepper to taste

      Shopping list for Red Bean and Beef Soup

      For 4 servings you will need:

      ½ teaspoon vegetable oil spray
      1 teaspoon minced garlic
      6 ounces lean beef or pork,
      1 can cooked red kidney beans
      4 cups water
      1 carrot
      1 medium potato
      ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
      2 tablespoons beef broth powder
      salt & pepper to taste

      And to garnish, you will need:
      2 tablespoons of chopped green onions
      2 tablespoons of chopped celery leaves
